Delete your account
You can delete your Finanzo account and the data associated with it at any time, from the app or by email. You do not need to call anyone.

1. Delete from the app (fastest)
- Open Finanzo and sign in.
- Go to Settings → Data & Privacy → Delete Account.
- Confirm. Your account is closed immediately and you are signed out everywhere.
2. Delete by email
Email info@finanzo.io from the email address on your account with the subject “Delete my Finanzo account”. We verify the request by replying to that address and complete it within 10 business days of your confirmation. We may ask you to confirm from inside the app if we cannot verify it is you.
3. What happens when you delete
- Immediately: your sign-in stops working on every device; linked bank connections are removed at Plaid; any Premium subscription is set not to renew; every loan officer or agent you had paired with loses access to your data.
- Within 30 days: your profile, linked-account balances and transactions, budgets, goals, saved home searches, favorites, documents, messages, credit-monitoring enrollment, and notification tokens are permanently erased from our systems and backups age out on their normal schedule.
The 30-day hold exists so that an accidental or unauthorized deletion can be reversed. If you change your mind inside that window, email us from your account address and we will restore the account.
4. What we keep, and for how long
Some records must be kept after deletion because the law requires it or because they are needed to resolve disputes. They are kept only as long as that purpose requires, then deleted.

5. Delete some data without closing the account
You can unlink a bank account (Settings → Linked Accounts), delete a saved search, remove a document, leave a shared space, or revoke a loan officer's or agent's access (Settings → Data & Privacy) at any time without deleting your account. You can also export a copy of your data from the same screen.
